Frito Chili Pie

  • 2lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 C jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 1T minced garlic
  • 1T Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 packet of chili seasoning
  • 1 Lg can Mild or Hot Rotel chiles
  • 1 Lg Can Brooks Mild Chili Beans
  • 1 sm can of black beans
  • 1 bag Fritos
  • sour cream(optional)
  • shredded cheese
  • lettuce(optional)
  • tomato(optional)



Brown the ground beef with the onions, jalapenos, minced garlic, chili powder, garlic salt. Next open the beans and add to the crockpot, open the rotel chiles and drain the juice, then add to the chili beans. Next mix in the chili seasoning. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 4-5 hours or until you feel the flavors have marinated together to your liking.

Take the desired amount of fritos to your plate, add the chili on top and some shredded cheese ( I melt my cheese in the microwave for about 20 seconds). Add any additional toppings that you like.
